Hey y’all! BrainyDawg here, the site creator. This week I want to compete to name as many famous people as possible that have said they have learning differences! And why YOU think their LD actually helped their career.
Here’s a start:
Adam Levine
Justin Timberlake
Richard Branson
Michael Phelps
Steven Spielberg (Dyslexia)
David Neeleman (ADD)
Daniel Radcliffe (Dyspraxia)
Charles Schwab (Dyslexia)
I think one main reason that having LDs help them with their success is because having LDs make them understand themselves better then other people. Having LDs means that they have to recognize differences between you and others at a very young age, and this help them to identify and understand themselves better. Knowing your own abilities is essential towards success, as the Eastern proverb says, "Know your enemy and know yourself, and you can fight a hundred battles without losing."
